While the Dark God, Khuarus, rises with ever-growing power and leads his demonic legions against the world, the Guardians must fight not only with their blades, but also with their doubts, their grief, and the faith that becomes harder to hold on to.
 
At the center of this story stands Vyth, a young Guardian apprentice whose fate pulls him into the heart of battle far too soon.
